A few specific fixes for greenssolicitors.com

GREENS Solicitors · Ludlow · website rebuild

I rebuild small-firm sites in my own time when I can see them leaving something on the table. I spent ten minutes on greenssolicitors.com and three things stood out, each one sitting on top of something the firm already owns: nearly sixty years in Ludlow, a named sole practitioner, and published fees. Three findings below, then a working rebuild you can click through.

Three findings, from ten minutes on the live site

What nearly sixty years in Ludlow is currently leaving on the table.

A walk-through of the live greenssolicitors.com on 10 June 2026. None of these is redesign for its own sake. Each is a thing the firm already owns that the site is not showing.

01

The Other Areas services page still shows the theme developer’s placeholder copy, live, today.

What I saw
Open greenssolicitors.com/services/other-areas/ and the page reads, in full: “Some information about what you offer here…” followed by the list of services. That is the sample text that ships with the Business Pro WordPress theme, published since the 2018 rebuild and indexed by Google. For a firm whose whole pitch is care and attention to the file, an unfinished page is the single most expensive sentence on the site.
In the rebuild
The rebuild has no empty slots. Partnership disputes, debt recovery and the commercial and agricultural work get the same finished treatment as conveyancing, written in the client’s language with the formal term alongside.
02

Every photograph on the site is a stock image. Andrew, Olivia and the King Street office never appear.

What I saw
The homepage hero is the theme’s own bundled photo of a startup office meeting, served straight from the theme folder (wp-content/themes/business-pro-theme/assets/images/hero.jpg, 232KB). The supporting images are a stock handshake over a laptop and a stock hand on a computer mouse. Meanwhile the profiles page describes a real sole practitioner of 35 years, a paralegal who passed her conveyancing examinations, and a team with 45 years between them, with no faces and no office.
In the rebuild
The rebuild is built around the people and the credentials: Andrew Whittle named in the hero with his 2024 portrait in the people section, Olivia Powell credited on the conveyancing work, the firm’s SRA recognition set in type, and the former 18 Broad Street premises as a heritage artefact. No stock anywhere.
03

Greens publishes a full conveyancing scale-charge table, which almost no small firm does, and the homepage never mentions it.

What I saw
The property fees page carries a complete scale: £1,000 plus VAT up to £250,000, stepping to £1,350 plus VAT at £450,000, leasehold plus £300. That is rarer and more persuasive than anything else on the site, and it sits two menu levels deep as an unformatted text run. The homepage says nothing about it, and the site describes itself to Google in three words: “Lawyers in Ludlow”.
In the rebuild
The rebuild gives fees a whole section, set as a proper table, with an interactive checker that quotes your own published figures by price band. The structured data becomes a real LegalService block with the address, hours and phone, so the search result works as hard as the table does.

Nothing to pay before launch day.

The rebuild you have been clicking through is not a mock-up of what I would build. It is built. If you want it, it goes live on your own domain within two weeks. If you do not, it comes down on 20 June 2026 and you owe nothing.

£2,000
Once, when the site is live on your domain. Nothing before that.
£150
Per month for hosting and ongoing care.
£50
Optional. Embedded chatbot trained on FAQs.

No deposit. No retainer. No contract. No in-person visits, fully remote from Switzerland. You pay on launch day, when it is live and you are happy.

  • •  One round of revisions before launch
  • •  DNS cutover handled, you keep the domain in your name
  • •  30 days of post-launch tweaks at no extra cost
  • •  Source code handed over on day 60, you own everything
The close

If you want the site, reply to this with the word “yes” and I will send over what happens next, or reply with two or three 20-minute slots if you would rather talk it through first. I take on three Shropshire builds this quarter, and first confirmed wins the slot. Either way, if I have not heard back by 20 June 2026, the site comes down and that is the end of it. No follow-up calls, no chasing.
